AUDITIONS

The WBP will hold regular auditions for students aged 8-19yrs, either;

• wishing to participate in the youth ballet productions 
•  to gain audition experience and receive a written critique

We feel very strongly about an honest and open relationship with the candidates so we can best guide and motivate them towards their future goals.  Post audition all applicants will be emailed with a short, constructive report on their performance. 

The auditions are broken up to age categories 8/9yrs 10/11yrs, 12/13yrs and 14yrs +.  There will be multiple teachers/ex-professionals in the panel to make an unbiased assessment of each candidate and give each dancer the they deserve.

Our January 2025 season celebrates 5 years of The Western Ballet Project, so we are going on holiday to The Mornington Peninsula! We will be holding auditions both in the Peninsula (for the locals) and Werribee (for our western dancers wanting to go on a dance holiday!)  As always our auditions are open to dancers wanting to take part for the experience and feedback.

Our next auditions are on 

• Sunday the 28th July in Mount Martha 
• Sunday the 4th August in Werribee

Rehearsals will take place in Rosebud from 9am-4pm 20-24th January with the performance taking place at the magnificent Frankston Art Centre on Saturday the 25th January 2025.
