 Eva, more commonly known as Evita, will focus on her childhood and early adulthood. From an early age, she exhibited a determination and drive that fueled her aspiration to become an actress. Born into an illegitimate family, her father had a legal family, and when he returned permanently to his wife and children, Eva, along with her four siblings and mother, was left to navigate extreme poverty in the shanty towns of provincial Buenos Aires. Despite facing numerous hardships, at the age of 15, she seized an opportunity to move to the city and pursue her dreams.

For four challenging years, she struggled to find acting work, accepting any roles that came her way and refusing to give up. Although she was often considered neither beautiful enough nor particularly talented, this did not deter her. Eventually, she secured a position in radio, starring in a daily soap opera. At a time when radios were ubiquitous, even in remote villages where townsfolk gathered to listen, she became a well-known voice. Her resilience and persistence ultimately paid off.

In 1944, at the age of 25, Eva was invited to a charity gala alongside various celebrities and government officials to raise funds for earthquake victims. It was at this event that she met Juan Perón, her future husband marking a dramatic shift in her life from radio to politics where she becomes the first lady of Argentinia and works tirelessly to improve the lives of the working class.
